· BEN was raised in Santee and knows Santee’s concerns first hand. He has “Santee Family Values” and was a member of The Knights of Columbus.

· BEN is knowledgeable and experienced and will be responsive to citizen concerns.

· BEN is the owner of a local small business. He received an award from the “East County Small Business Association” for creating more than 40 new jobs in Santee.

· BEN went to school in East County and studied Economics at the University of California San Diego. He has been a local community leader for over 12 years.

· BEN will be a councilman concerned about the issues, not politics. He is supported by local elected officials from both the Republican and Democratic parties- but more importantly he is supported by hundreds of local residents.
