What distinguishes my self, James Peasley, in this Padre Dam Board of Directors race is that I am an experienced proven leader with over three decades in the water industry as a registered professional civil engineer in water resources management. As a Board member of the Padre Dam Board I will provide proven and effective policy direction to achieve the objectives of my platform that will benefit the Padre Dam rate payers. My vision for Padre Dam is for that agency to become a leader in the water industry.

My platform objectives are as follows:
• Keep water rates at the lowest level possible.
• Increase water supply sufficiency and reliability.
• Have effective and efficient government.
• Increase community responsiveness.
• Achieve professionalism, openness, and transparency at Padre Dam.

It is important that the rate payers of Padre Dam be represented in a manner to achieve accomplishments that directly benefit them. My experience and leadership skills for communicating clear, concise, and purposeful direction will foster dialogue to accomplish effective outcomes by the Board that will result in positive changes bettering the lives of the Padre Dam rate payers.

My family has been in America since 1736 and as a result of that history I have traditional American ideals with a high level of integrity that drive me to do the right thing. Those of whom that know me and the principles that I am founded upon strongly support my decision to run for the Padre Dam Board of Directors position. Many of whom are elected officials, professionals in the water industry, friends, and family. My family lives in Blossom Valley and we have East County history and values. I am energized and excited about the challenge of the Padre Dam Board of Directors race.
