eVoter™.com is owned by Political Technologies LLC (“Political Technologies”). Your privacy is important to us. To protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.
The Information We Collect:
This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the eVoter™.com or by our contribution processor and wholly-owned subsidiary, Contribution Technologies, Inc. As part of the normal operation of our services we collect and, in some cases, may disclose information about you. By accepting this Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions, you expressly consent to our use and disclosure of your personal information in the manner described in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to the terms of the Political Technologies Terms and Conditions.
Your personally identifiable information will be stored and processed on our computers in the United States. The laws regarding the handling of personal data in the United States may differ from the laws of other countries but our site is intended primarily for use in the United States, or by U.S. Citizens. As we explain below, Political Technologies will hold and transmit your information in a safe, confidential and secure environment.
If you are a Voter, on our site you can make requests for information (including ballot information), register to receive information on the site and via email, and even make financial contributions to groups and individuals. If you make a contribution you will be doing so on a Profile/Contribution page which is hosted by Political Technologies as a paid advertisement by a Candidate or Organization which is registered with the relevant election authority as an authorized campaign committee. Your contribution will be processed by our contribution payment processor, Contribution Technologies, Inc. Information collected during this process is covered under this privacy policy.
In addition, if you are a Candidate, a Ballot Measure Committee, or an Organization, you may submit information about yourself, your campaign, or your committee or organization. You may also receive confidential information from, and conduct confidential communications with, supporters and contributors.

The Way We Use Information:
We use the information you provide about yourself when creating a ballot or making a contribution only for that purpose. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete your request and to the extent necessary to fulfill campaign disclosure laws and regulations.
You should recognize that campaign disclosure laws generally require that we release certain personal details (usually not credit card or personal financial information) of contributors who have made contributions on our site to the relevant campaign committee or organization. We will inform you what information we will be sending to such committee or organization. You should expect that you will be required to make public campaign disclosures with one or more regulatory agencies which will contain some of your personal information.
If you make a contribution to a candidate, campaign committee, or political organization, you should anticipate that the amount of the contribution and certain of your personal details will become public knowledge.
We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties without your permission.
You can register with our website if you would like to save your information or if you’d like to interact with other users of the site.
We use non-identifying and aggregate information to help improve the design of our website and to share with candidates and organizations. For example, we may tell a candidate that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our website, or that Y number of men and Z number of women filled out our registration form, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals without explicit permission.
Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

If you change your password and email address we will retain a record of your old password and email address. You can also change your registration information such as: name, address, city, state, zip code, phone number, contact person, profile entries, etc..
Upon your notification, we will remove your profile or account from our active databases as soon as reasonably possible in accordance with our policy and applicable law. To learn how to hide or remove your profile so that others cannot view it, visit the Help section of the Website.
We will retain in our files information you have requested be removed from our active databases for certain purposes, such as to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems and enforce our terms and conditions. Further, such prior information may never be completely removed from our databases due to technical and legal constraints, including stored ‘back up’ systems. Therefore, you should not expect that all of your personally identifiable information will be completely removed from our databases in response to any request you may submit.

Our Commitment to Children’s Privacy:
Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.
